As we celebrate 60 extraordinary years of nationhood, AIPRO - with support from IMDA - invites talented storytellers to bring Singapore's hidden stories to life through bite-sized, impactful short-form video content designed to captivate audiences across social media!
We are looking for compelling short-form videos that will resonate with Singaporeans, foster unity, and inspire action as we look to the future of our nation. Selected proposals will receive up to SGD 28,000 in funding!

Requirements

Your story must showcase at least one of the following key themes:

A Caring Society: Show how Singaporeans look out for each other and display acts of kindness and inclusivity, highlighting empathy, compassion, and support.

A Sense of Connectedness: Explore the bonds that unite Singaporeans through shared experiences, heritage, and aspirations, as well as the connections that cross backgrounds and generations.

Initiative for Progress: Showcase innovative ideas, problems-solving abilities, and proactive contributions that demonstrate a forward-thinking and contributive spirit that help shape a better future for Singapore.

Use original and creative approaches (e.g. drama, documentary, animation) to present fresh perspectives, evoke emotions, communicate a clear message, and inspire viewers to:

Reflect on and identify their role in shaping Singapore's future

Have a sense of belonging and hope for our shared future, and make positive contributions to it.

Technical Requirements
Each proposal (Up to 80% funding, capped at SGD28,000) must:

Be produced as 5 episodes, each at least 2 minutes long, in 9:16 video format.

Be in any Singapore’s official languages of English, Mandarin, Malay and Tamil (with English subtitles).
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
-
Be a Singapore-registered company with SSIC codes: 5911, 59111, 59112, 59113, 59114, 59119, or 59120
-
Employ at least 50% Singaporean citizens/PRs as Key creative personnel e.g. Director, Producer, DOP, Video Editor (including freelancers)

Be a TAFEP signatory for media freelancers

Submit only original, fresh ideas not previously used in any production
-
Submit up to 3 proposals per company, with a maximum of 2 proposals to be selected (5 videos per proposal, i.e. up to 10 videos total if awarded 2 proposals)
Proposal Requirements
Proposals must be concise, in English and max 10 pages and include:

Concept title

Logline and synopsis

Treatment
-
Episode details (5 episodes, min 2 minutes each)

Target audience appeal

Character descriptions and proposed cast (if applicable)

Key creatives' profiles with portfolio links

SG60 theme alignment explanation

Detailed budget breakdown (including the production company's 20% co-funding contribution)
Additional information in native languages may be included.
